Mineral Resource
An estimated quantity of in-ground mineralization with reasonable prospects for eventual economic extraction.
A Mineral Resource is an estimate of in-ground mineralization classified by confidence in the data behind it: Inferred (lowest confidence — based on limited sampling, geological inference), Indicated (medium confidence — drill density sufficient to estimate continuity), and Measured (highest confidence — closely spaced drilling, can convert to a reserve). Resources are not the same as reserves — they have not been demonstrated to be economically minable.
