Mineral Reserve

The economically mineable portion of a Measured or Indicated Resource, supported by a Feasibility-level study.

A Mineral Reserve is the part of a Mineral Resource that has been demonstrated to be economically mineable at a specified commodity price, mine plan, and recovery. Reserves are classified as Probable (from Indicated Resources) or Proven (from Measured Resources). The conversion from Resource to Reserve requires at least a Pre-Feasibility Study and addresses all material modifying factors — mining, processing, environmental, social, legal.
