This Cookie Policy explains how OreStocks uses cookies and similar technologies (collectively, cookies) on our websites, applications, dashboards, and related online services (the Services). For how we process personal data more broadly, see our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small files stored on your device to make the Services work, keep them secure, remember preferences, and analyze/improve performance. We also use SDKs, pixels, and local storage, which we treat as cookies in this Policy.
2. How we use cookies
We group cookies into the following categories:
- Strictly Necessary — required to deliver core functionality, security, fraud prevention, and network management. These cannot be switched off in our systems.
- Performance / Analytics — help us understand usage (e.g., page views, feature adoption, error diagnostics) so we can improve the Services.
- Functionality — remember choices (e.g., language, region, preferences) to provide enhanced, more personalized features.
- Advertising / Measurement — enable ad delivery, frequency capping, attribution, and measuring the effectiveness of campaigns. In some jurisdictions these may be deemed a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.
Current cookies & providers. The up‑to‑date list of cookies, providers, and durations is available at any time in our on‑site Cookie Settings panel. Because providers can change, the Cookie Settings panel is the authoritative source.
3. Your choices and consent
- Preference Center. When you first visit (and whenever you wish thereafter), you can set your choices in Cookie Settings (e.g., Accept All, Reject Non‑Essential, or choose categories). You can withdraw consent at any time by updating your settings; your change will apply going forward.
- Regional rules. In the EEA/UK/CH, we only set non‑essential cookies with your consent. In other regions, we rely on consent or opt‑out mechanisms as required by local law.
- Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt‑out of sale/sharing for cross‑context behavioral advertising to the extent required by law.
- Do Not Sell or Share (US). Where required by US state laws, you may also use our "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link.
- Browser controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies; doing so may affect site functionality. Instructions are typically available in your browser's help documentation.
4. Cookie duration
Cookies are either session (deleted when you close the browser) or persistent (stay until they expire or you delete them). The specific duration for each cookie is listed in the Cookie Settings panel.
5. Third‑party cookies
We may allow trusted third parties to set cookies for analytics, performance monitoring, advertising/measurement, customer support, or A/B testing. These providers may process data for their own purposes consistent with their privacy policies. See the Cookie Settings panel for the current list of providers.
6. Updates to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new Effective Date. Material changes may also be highlighted in a banner or preference prompt.
