TORONTO, July 25 /CNW/ - Armistice Resources Corp. (TSX: AZ) ("Armistice" or the "Corporation") is pleased to report that underground drilling is underway at the McGarry project. As announced previously, the company has engaged Heath and Sherwood Drilling (Cabo Drilling Corp.) for the first phase of 10,000 feet of drilling.
All samples are being assayed at Swastika Laboratories Ltd. in Kirkland Lake. A full regime of Quality Control and Quality Assurance is being implemented including check assaying at an independent assay laboratory.
Erik Andersen, VP-COO, is pleased to announce the addition of Ghislain Deschenes P. Geo. as Senior Geologist. Ghislain brings with him over 20 years of experience in a broad range of mining geology including mine production planning and grade control, statistical resource estimating and modelling techniques, environmental planning and general operations management. Ghislain will play an important part in the evaluation and development of the McGarry Project.
Repair and upgrade work is progressing as planned. Several key projects have been completed and the company looks forward to progressing with mine development work.

Armistice is a Canadian exploration company that owns an advanced exploration underground gold project in North-eastern Ontario located on the prolific Larder Lake break. The McGarry project consists of 34 contiguous patented mining claims and licences of occupation totaling 484 hectares which adjoins the former producing Kerr Addison gold mine which produced in excess of 11 million ounces of gold.
