Noble Metal Group Incorporated: Cariboo Mineral Gold Property Update

(via Thenewswire.ca)

The geochemical soil surveys on Upper and Lower Weaver Creek identified several gold anomalies. A large anomalous gold zone was also identified where numerous quartz veins and stockworks are evident.

In proximity and in some cases correlating with gold anomalies relating to hydrothermal emplacement, concentrates of chromium, nickel, copper and cobalt occur

Magnetometer and VLF-EM (Very Low Frequency-Electro-Magnetic) surveys were carried out over the geochemical soil survey grid to establish if any correlation between the two surveys were present.

The Survey indicated two areas of highly magnetic material near the surface corresponding with the very high gold values encountered by the geochemical soil survey. The magnetic survey indicated dominant geological structures striking to the northwest as well as several northeasterly trending faults. Two faults are associated with elevated gold values another major fault corresponds closely to a zone of highly magnetic material near surface.

During the summer of 2010 following on the results of the geochemical soil surveys on Upper and Lower Weaver Creek exploration work in the form of prospecting and hand trenching was completed to map and outline potential diamond drill targets. The overburden cover, outcrop exposure and access roads were also defined.

In June and July of 2011 two geochemical soil surveys extending the lower portion of the Weaver Creek grid to the west were conducted to further investigate known oxidized zones. Approximately 183 samples were collected and are currently being assayed.
