Whats the catch with awaruite? a nickel alloy you can just gravity separate sounds too clean, what am i missing

Awaruite is basically a natural nickel iron alloy, so a gravity and magnetic circuit can concentrate it without the smelting and acid leaching a sulphide or laterite needs. You are buying a simpler flowsheet and a lower cost curve, nothing more. The risk is whether bench…
