Duncastle Gold Corp. (DUN.V)(5D3.F) announced recently that it was preparing to fly a geophysical survey over its Porphyry Creek project located 20 kilometres northwest of Smithers, British Columbia.
The Porphyry Creek project covers over 115 sq km of mineral claims with historic workings and numerous high-grade gold, silver and polymetallic showings around a distinct ten kilometre long magnetic high. Modeling by Duncastle has shown that the mineral zonation on the property is consistent with porphyry style copper-gold deposits, which can be massive.
Following the airborne geophysics, additional ground-based exploration work is planned, as is a potential drill program later in the year.
