Augen Gold Appoints Chief Financial Officer

TORONTO, Sept. 12 /CNW/ - Augen Gold Corp. ("Augen Gold" or the "Company") (TSX-V: AUJ) today announced the appointment of Manish Z. Kshatriya as Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Kshatriya joined Augen Gold in 2006 as Director of Finance and has been interim Chief Financial Officer since April, 2008. Prior to joining the Company, he held a variety of progressively senior roles in finance, accounting and taxation. Mr. Kshatriya holds a BAS (Honours) in Accounting and Finance from York University, a Chartered Accountant (CA) designation as well as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
"Manish has demonstrated considerable skill and proven to be a valuable asset to Augen Gold playing a crucial role in the Company's successful initial public offering," said Michael Fowler, President and CEO. Mr. Kshatriya has also been named Chief Financial Officer of Augen Capital Corp. (TSX-V: AUG) which is a major shareholder of Augen Gold.
