(via Thenewswire.ca)

Vancouver, BC, January 24, 2012 - Vatic Ventures Corp (TSX-V: VCV and Frankfurt: V8V) has located a linear 900 metre long by 25 to 50 metre wide multi-element anomaly as a result of its 2011 exploration program on its BM Gold Property near Merritt, B.C. The anomaly is highlighted by gold and silver, along with pathfinder elements antimony and selenium. The BM Gold Property lies within the Spences Bridge Gold Belt (SBGB) of south central British Columbia. The SBGB is an emerging new epithermal precious metal exploration target.

VCV's program consisted of soil sampling over a 2,600 m by 2,700 m grid with 100 m lines sampled at every 25 m in the northern part of the 7,000 ha large property. During this phase, 35 rock samples and 2,636 soil samples were taken and submitted to ACME Laboratories in Vancouver, BC. The samples were taken in the northeast and middle parts of the property as previously identified as the most interesting areas.

Mr. Nasim Tyab, Vatic's President, said, "We are very encouraged by the preliminary results obtained on the BM Gold property and plan to aggressively evaluate the multi-element anomaly in 2012."

The SBGB is an emerging new epithermal precious metal exploration target. Exploration highlights obtained by other SBGB explorers include:

Almaden Minerals Ltd and Strongbow Exploration reported drill results including 18.4 gpt Au over 12.8 m from their Skoonka Creek JV on November 29, 2005

Westhaven has recently drilled 7 holes for 606 m on its Shovelnose property which is directly adjacent to the BM property. The results are still pending.

The Company has been unable to verify the drill results from Skoonka Creek or Prospect Valley and these drill results are not necessarily indicative of the mineralization on the BM property.

At present, the company continues to evaluate all results and is considering its next steps.

Mr. R. Tim Henneberry, P.Geo., independent consultant to the Company is the qualified person for the technical disclosure contained in this news release and has approved the disclosure herein.
