Nevada Exploration Inc. is a junior exploration company engaged in discovery of gold using a new and unique groundwater chemistry exploration technology in the sand and gravel-covered pediment areas of Nevada. Its project portfolio is the result of more than 10 years of exploration work using the groundwater chemistry technique at a cost of more than $12 million. NGE has assembled a portfolio of highly prospective projects using its technique and now owns nine drill-ready projects.
The company has signed joint venture agreement with AuRico Gold Inc. (NYSE: AUQ) (TSX: AUQ) on its Awakening gold project and a work agreement with US Gold Corp (TSX: UXG) (NYSE: UXG), which has asked NGE to use its groundwater based exploration technology at the former’s properties in Nevada.
Nevada continues to be a very active gold mining region and is home to gold majors like Newmont Mining Corp (NYSE: NEM) and junior exploration companies such as Klondex Mines Ltd (TSX: KDX) (TSE: KDX) and US Gold Corp (TSX: UXG) (TSE: UXG) (NYSE: UXG) among others. Recent acquisition of Fronteer Gold by Newmont has brought attention to junior gold companies in Nevada with strong exploration potential.
