STEWART, BC, Nov. 12 /CNW/ - Mountain Boy Minerals Ltd. and Pinnacle Mines announce that the 2008 drill program at the Silver Coin gold property has extended the area of known mineralization as well as completed infill drilling in the area of known resources. A total of 88 holes were drilled on the property this year and assays have been received for 60 holes to date. The 2008 drill program was designed to add precious metals resources and to improve the resource categories already established in an April 2007 resource calculation by Minefill Services Inc. of Seattle, WA. The April 2007 Report included holes that were drilled to the end of 2006. Snowden Engineering of Vancouver, BC has already begun work on an updated 43-101 compliant resource calculation and technical report which will incorporate assay results for both the 2007 and 2008 exploration seasons. This April 2007 report indicates that the property has 488,202 gold equivalent (Au-Ag) ounces in the measured and indicated category as well as 1,000,499 gold equivalent ounces in the inferred category.
Silver Coin is a gold-silver-base metals property located about 24 kilometers north of Stewart, British Columbia in the Skeena Mining Division. The area of known mineralization extends for at least 1.5 kilometers from the Idaho claim, across the Kansas claim on to the Big Missouri claim and then ending on the Silver Coin 10 claim. Mineralization is hosted in a breccia zone up to 200 meters wide bound by 2 faults. Gold and silver values are associated with silicification plus or minus galena, sphalerite, chalcopyrite and pyrite. The Silver Coin project and associated mineral claims is a 51-49% owned joint venture between Pinnacle (51%) and Mountain Boy (49%) except for the Kansas Claim which Pinnacle owns 70.6% of and Mountain Boy 29.4%. Drill testing has only been completed on 700 meters of strike length on the mineralized breccia to date with testing on the Kansas claim completed.
The 2008 season started with Hole 222 and ended at Hole 310. Over 12,600 meters of diamond drilling was completed this season. Below is a chronological breakdown of all diamond drill results received so far this year with another 28 holes from the Big Missouri claim pending assays. Gold is the primary metal on the Silver Coin property. Chronological hole numbers not reflected in this chart are awaiting assays.

Metallurgical studies of sample material from the property started in September and a final report is expected soon. Preliminary results from these studies are very encouraging and show recoveries in the high 90 percentile using a flotation recovery procedure.
