Virgin Metals is a junior exploration and development company focused on copper, molybdenum, tungsten, and silver projects in Mexico and the USA.
The Company has been active this past year. Since our initiating report of March 2011, Virgin Metals has taken two major development steps: (1) issued a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) for the Los Verdes project; and (2) acquired the Potreritos property, which is adjacent to Los Verdes.
The new PEA contains better designed metallurgy processes and a more carefully thought-out, and thus cheaper, mine design. It also provides a shorter payback period, which should interest potential investors/partners. eResearch expects that Virgin Metals will bring the mine at Los Verdes into production in 2015. We recommend Virgin Metals Inc. as a Speculative Buy for long-term, risk-tolerant investors. Our Target Price is raised from $0.80 to $1.00 per share.
