Quaterra Resources Inc. (QMM)(QTA.V)(QR2.F) has a dominant land position in the large Yerington Nevada copper camp. A preliminary economic assessment is underway for the nearby MacArthur acid-soluble deposit, as well as drilling on the new high grade zones found at MacArthur last year. The nearby Bear porphyry copper deposit just to the north will be seeing drills in 2012 as well.
A new resource calculation and a preliminary economic assessment on its Nieves silver project in central Mexico are expected in the next few months, while exploration funded by Goldcorp continues on several of Quaterra’s other holdings in the Faja De Plata.
