Antioquia Gold Inc. announced the discovery of five new vein systems at its flagship Cisneros gold project in the Department of Antioquia in Colombia.
Cisneros, which is located 55 kilometres northeast of Medellin,comprises seven contiguous mineral dispositions covering over 5,600 hectares, and four property areas.
By August 31, 2011, the Company’s planned 15,000 metres of drilling at Cisneros was completed, and results are now in for a little more than half of the drill length. Results included 12.8 g/t Au over 1.7 metres, and 8.25 g/t Au over 1.5 metres.
