Cantex Relinquishes Greenland Property

KELOWNA, BC, Jan. 25 /CNW/ - Cantex Mine Development Corp (CD - TSX Venture Exchange) ("Cantex" or the "Company").
Pursuant to the agreement with Metalex Ventures Ltd. dated January 19, 2005, the Company wishes to announce that, effective January 20, 2008, it has chosen not to meet the $120,000 expenditure commitment required to earn a 25% interest in the Greenland licenses. Instead, the Company intends to focus on further development of its highly promising mineral properties in the Republic of Yemen and Nevada.
