On August 12, 2024, Endeavour issued a press release disclosing that "the primary ball mill at the Guanacevi mill" in Mexico "has failed and could take up to 12 weeks to replace" and that "[a]s a result, processing of material at the Guanacevi mill has been suspended." The Company further stated that "this downtime will impact Q3 production and is expected to impact annual production and cost guidance."

On this news, Endeavour's stock price fell $0.42 per share, or 13.64%, to close at $2.66 per share on August 12, 2024.
