WINNIPEG, MB, Feb. 19 /CNW/ - Wildcat Exploration Ltd. announced today that it has filed a statement of defence in regard to the statement of claim initiated by Shlomo (Sol) Prizant in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice on February 9, 2007.
Wildcat also announced that the Company had filed a counterclaim in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice against Mr. Prizant and others. In addition, the Company announced that it has engaged the accounting firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP to conduct a forensic audit in support of the continuing Board of Directors investigation into Mr. Prizant's activities during his time with Wildcat.
