HALIFAX, Oct. 6, 2014/CNW/ - Namibia Rare Earths Inc. ("Namibia Rare Earths" or the "Company") (TSX:NRE) (OTCQX:NMREF) is pleased to report that Richard Surratthas joined the senior management team at NamibiaRare Earths in the role of Vice President Corporate Development and Strategic Initiatives.
Mr. Surratt has held senior management positions with various public and private companies over the last 25 years including with Mobil Corporation in the roles of Director, Major Transactions Group; Treasurer,Latin America; Senior Associate-Global Capital Markets; and Senior Financial Analyst. Mr. Surratt received an M.B.A. from StanfordGraduate School of Business, an M.S. Fluid Mechanics and Thermal Sciences from TheGeorge Washington University, and a B.S. MarineEngineering Systems fromU.S. Merchant Marine Academy,Kings Point, New York.
