WINNIPEG, May 15 /CNW/ - Wildcat Exploration Ltd. (the "Company") has announced that, at its request, The Manitoba Securities Commission has issued an order that has the effect of extending the management cease trade order ("MCTO") originally issued on May 1, 2007. The MCTO was granted because the Company was not in a position to file its 2006 audited financial statements by the April 30, 2007 deadline. The MCTO precludes the issuance by the securities regulatory authorities of a full issuer cease trade order as long as the Company complies with the conditions of the MCTO.
As a consequence of the MCTO, the directors, officers and insiders of the Company, and certain other specified persons and companies, are not permitted to trade in the securities of the Company until the 2006 audited financial statements have been filed and the MCTO has been removed.

Wildcat Exploration Ltd. (the "Issuer")
1. There have been no material changes in the information contained in the Notice of Default filed by the Issuer.
2. The Company has not failed to fulfill its stated intentions in its Notice of Default.
3. There has been no actual default of a financial statement filing requirement subsequent to that disclosed in the Notice of Default. The Company does not anticipate any default of a financial statement filing requirement subsequent to that disclosed in the Notice of Default.
4. There is no other material information concerning the affairs of the Issuer that has not been generally disclosed.
