FORT ST. JOHN, British Columbia – October 20, 2026 – TheNewswire -A.C.L. Construction Ltd. (TSXV: ACL) (the "Corporation") announces that, effective October 6, 2026, the TSX Venture Exchange (the "Exchange") suspended trading in the Corporation's securities as a result of the failure-to-file cease trade order (the "FFCTO") issued against the Corporation by the British Columbia Securities Commission on October 5, 2026, as previously announced by the Corporation on October 6, 2026.

Reinstatement to trading is not automatic. The Corporation must submit a written reinstatement application to the Exchange, which the Corporation intends to do once the required annual financial statements, management's discussion and analysis and chief executive officer and chief financial officer certificates (collectively, the "Required Filings") have been filed and the FFCTO has been revoked, and the Corporation has otherwise satisfied the Exchange's reinstatement requirements.

The Exchange has advised the Corporation that if it does not complete its reinstatement to Tier 2 of the Exchange, or is unable to meet the Tier 2 continued listing requirements, by January 5, 2027, the Exchange may transfer the Corporation's securities to NEX without further notice to the Corporation.

The Corporation continues to work toward completion of the Required Filings and anticipates that it will be in a position to remedy the default on or before November 27, 2026.
