The week's best drill results: 10–16 October 2026

·

The 10 highest-scoring drill results reported in the week of 10–16 October 2026, ranked by the OreStocks drill score, which weighs grade, width and depth against the norms of each metal. By metal: gold 7, tungsten 1, tin 1, copper 1. Each entry is summarised from the company's own release or exchange announcement; the figures are the company's as reported.

1. Rackla Metals Inc. (RAK.V): 17.95m @ 2.28 % WO3, Lentung, Canada

Hole DDH26L-002 returned 17.95 m at 2.28 % WO3 from 32.00 m to 49.95 m; reported intervals are down hole lengths, not true widths. Other results included 20.35 m at 1.72 % WO3 from 11 m in DDH26L-001 and 17.9 m at 1.67 % WO3 from 23 m in DDH26L-003. Drilling tested the Western Skarn body and corroborated historical Union Carbide results, with the mineralized horizon encountered where predicted throughout the Central Zone.

These are assays from the first four modern drill holes at Lentung, part of the 2026 drill program. Rackla Metals Inc. expects further drill assays and results from re-assaying selected historical core over the next two to three months, intended to support a modern Mineral Resource estimate and guide a 2027 exploration program to further define and expand known mineralization.

2. Hycroft Mining Holding Corporation Class A (HYMC): 19.6m @ 30.49 g/t Au, Hycroft Mine, United States

19.6 meters at 30.49 g/t gold and 1,726.72 g/t silver were intersected in hole H26D-6175A from 416.5 meters to 436.1 meters at Vortex. This included 1.7 meters at 347.07 g/t gold and 9,526.36 g/t silver from 433.2 meters to 434.9 meters, with visible gold observed in the intercept. The intercept extends farther west and south of previously reported high-grade gold and silver intercepts.

The results belong to the 2025-2026 Exploration Drill Program at the Hycroft Mine, aimed at expanding and advancing the Brimstone and Vortex systems. Hycroft Mining Holding Corporation says follow-up drilling is already underway and it plans to accelerate work at both systems.

How this list is made

OreStocks reads every drill-results release and exchange announcement from the companies it covers, extracts the reported intervals, and scores each result on grade, width and depth relative to typical results for that metal. The ten highest scores of the week are listed here, one per company. The summaries are written from the source documents and checked so that every figure appears in them; nothing is added. Browse all results in the drill results terminal.

Drill results are the companies' own reported figures, often from early-stage exploration, and a single intercept says little about a deposit. This article is general information, not investment advice.
